1 1/2 oz Kellogg's Rice Krispies
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
5 piece caramel candies
2 tsp reduced-fat peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
4 small apple(s)
Recipe
In a 9 inch pie plate, combine cereal and cinnamon. Microwave on High 2 minutes, stirring once; set aside.
In a small bowl, combine caramels, peanut butter, 1 tbsp. water and vanilla extract. Microwave on High 1 minute 30 seconds, or until melted and smooth, stirring once; let cool slightly. Insert craft stick into bottom of each apple.
With pastry brush, evenly coat apples with warm caramel mixture to within 1 inch of the stick. Roll apples in cereal, pressing cereal firmly onto apples. Place apples on wax paper to dry, about 15 minutes
