    FROSTED LIVERWURST PATE

    I usually make this during the Christmas holidays and it disappears quite quickly! Even those of us who don't like 'liver', like this!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1# liverwurst
    • 1/2 tsp. tasil
    • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 onion, minced
    • 1 8-oz. package cream cheese
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 1Tbls. mayonaise
    • 3-4 drops Tabasco
    • Fresh parsley, chopped


    Instructions


    1. Mash liverwurst with fork, mix in garlic, basil, & onion.
    2. Mound on plate forming an'igloo'; cover and chill.
    3. Blend cream cheese, garlic,Tabasco and mayonaise; spread over the liverwurst. Refrigerate at least 8 hours.
    4. Decorate with chopped parsley just before serving with assorted crackers.
