1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsps. baking soda
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
2 tsps. vanilla
2 cups sour cream
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar until fully blended. Slowly beat in the eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda and add to egg mixture. Blend in nuts, vanilla and sour cream. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5" loaf pans. Bake at 350º 45-60 minutes, or, until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans for about 10 minutes, then invert onto wire rack.
