    CHINESE MUNCHIES

    Source of Recipe

    unknown

    Recipe Introduction

These tasty 'munchies' are served as appetizers in most
Chinese restaurants. I always thought they were made of regular noodles. However, I learned they are simply made from Won Ton skins! Almost too simple to post, but thought someone else might want to make them!

    List of Ingredients

    Won Ton skins, large size
    peanut oil
    salt

    Recipe

4 Won Ton skins sliced in 1/2" strips. Heat about
1" oil in frying pan to medium heat and fry a few strips at a time. These brown very quickly, only takes a few seconds. Drain on paper towel and salt to taste.
This makes about 20 crispy 'munchies', enough for two. Make more as needed and place any left in air-tight container.
