    BARBEQUED PORK RIBS

    Recipe Introduction

    These ribs turn out so tender and good, they melt in your mouth! (In fact, I have some ready for the oven right now!)

    List of Ingredients

    3 to 4 pounds pork ribs
    water to cover
    1 1/2-2 tbls. pickling spice
    Barbeque sauce, your choice
    Pinch of Chinese five-spice powder (optional)


    Recipe

    Place ribs in large pot and cover with cold water, add the pickling spice. Bring to full boil and boil for one minute, cover and remove from heat. Let stand for one hour. Remove ribs and place in a baking pan, brush generously with barbeque sauce, cover tightly with foil. Bake at 275º for 1 hour then baste with sauce again; recover and return to oven for 2 to 21/2 hours, or, until tender.
