1 small head lettuce, shredded (enough for 1/2 lge. bowl)
1 small head cauliflower flowerets, chopped fine
1 small bunch broccoli flowerets, chopped fine
1/2 medium-size onion, minced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 cup frozen green peas
1 1/2 cup mayonaise
1# lean bacon, fried to crisp & crumbled
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/3 cup sugar
(You may want to add other ingredients like shredded carrots, black olives, etc...be creative!)

(If possible, use a large clear glass or plastic bowl for this...it's pretty!)
Place the shredded lettuce in a large bowl and add the next five ingredients in layers; spread the mayonaise over all to cover, add the crumbled bacon, then the parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the sugar on top, cover with foil and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Toss just before serving.
