Large sweet onions, sliced in 1/4" pieces
1 can evaporated milk
flour
cracker crumbs
oil for deep fryingRecipe
Place onion slices in cold water to cover, refrigerate over night. When ready to fry, drain onion thoroughly and dry on paper towels. Dip each onion slice in milk then in flour, dip in milk again then in cracker crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
