    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup margarene
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 cup celery chopped
    • 1/ cup flour
    • 3 cup milk
    • salt pepper
    • thyme
    • 1 cup frozen peas
    • 3 cup carrots diced
    • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
    • 4 cup cooked chopped turkey
    • Pastery for 2 -- 9" pie shells
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tbsp water


    Instructions


    1. In pot melt margarene, add onion,celery, saute 3 min. add flour, blend well gradually add milk, bring to boil, stirring. Add salt,pepper, thyme,peas, carrots, red pepper, and turkey, cover and reduce heat to simmer for 15 - 20 min or till carrots are tender.

    2. Meanwhile prepare a lattice crust .. Pour turkey mixture into 2 caserole dishes, transfer lattice crust over top. Press edges to seal. Beat egg with water, brush pastery with this. Bake 425 oven for 10 min, then 350 oven for 30 to 40 min. till bubbly.
