    • 6 cup apples thinly sliced
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 tbsp flour
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • Dash nutmeg
    • 1 tbsp margarine
    • sugar ( optional)


    Instructions


    1. Pastery for Double Crust pie

    2. Prepare and roll out pastery. Line a 9 inch pie pan with 1/2 of the pastery. Trim.

    3. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice to give more tartness.In bowl mix sugar,flour cinnamon and nutmeg. Add sugar mix to apples and toss to mix. Fill pie pan with apple mixture , dot with margarine. Put on top crust and cut slits in top crust to allow steam to escape. Seal and flute edges.Sprinkle a bit of sugar on top of crust.

    4. Bake 375 oven for 45 to 50 min.
