    Apple Nut Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 eggs
    • 1 1/4 C. cooking oil or margarine
    • 2 C. sugar
    • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    • 3 cups plain flour
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 3 C. cut up fresh apples
    • 2 C. chopped nuts
    • 1 T. rum extract and 1 T. water mixed


    Instructions


    1. Preheated oven at 325º. Beat eggs cooking oil sugar and vanilla for about 2 minutes with mixer.

    2. Sift and slowly add flour, salt and, baking soda until blended.

    3. With large spoon, stir in apples and nuts until blended.

    4. Last of all, add rum extract and water.

    5. Grease and flour tube cake pan and bake in preheated oven at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    6. When done, let set until pan is cooled.
