Baked Custard

List of Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1, 1/2 T. vanilla flavoring
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325º. (I use a blender to mix mine).
- Beat eggs lightly.
- Add sugar, salt, vanilla and milk. Losely place lid on blender and blend in short, quick spurts (so it won't run over)until just blended.
- Pour into pyrex bowl, sprinkle with nutmeg, and place bowl in a shallow pan of water in oven.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until inserted knife comes out clean. Cool and refrigerate.
- The custard tastes better the next day.
