Fresh Berry Pie

List of Ingredients
- Use 9-inch pie plate and make pastry for a 2 crust pie
- Preheat oven to 425�
- Bake for about 35 - 45 minutes or until brown.
- 4 cups berries washed and drained
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T lemon juice
Instructions
- Make pastry by "Oil Pastry" recipe in this cook book for double crust pie.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt together and carefully blend through the berries.
- Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Spoon lemon juice over top.
- Add top crust, seal edges and crimp pie crust. Cut a few slits in top crust and Bake.
Final Comments
Let pie cool and serve with ice cream.
