    Pecan Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 eggs beaten with fork
    • 1 cup light karo syrup
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 T. butter melted
    • 1/8 t. salt
    • 1 t. vanilla flavoring
    • 1 cup pecans (I use 2 cups pecan halves)
    • 1 recipe of Oil Pastry, not baked


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400º. Mix all ingredients with spoon and add nuts last. Pour into prepared Oil Pastry pie crust in a large 10" pyrex pie pan.

    2. Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 25-30 minutes. Pie is done when browned, and knife inserted in it comes out clean.
