Pecan Pie

List of Ingredients
- 2 eggs beaten with fork
- 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 T. butter melted
- 1/8 t. salt
- 1 t. vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup pecans (I use 2 cups pecan halves)
- 1 recipe of Oil Pastry, not baked
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400�. Mix all ingredients with spoon and add nuts last. Pour into prepared Oil Pastry pie crust in a large 10" pyrex pie pan.
- Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350� and bake 25-30 minutes. Pie is done when browned, and knife inserted in it comes out clean.
