    1 cup unsifted flour
    1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
    3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup butter, melted
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
    3 tablespoons flour

    Recipe



    In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and blend well with mixer to form crumbs. Press 1/2 of crumbs into the bottom of an ungreased 9 by 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Remove crust from oven and while hot, sprinkle with chips and pecans. Mix flour and topping and drizzle over chips and pecans. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top and bake at 350° 15 or 20 minutes until golden brown. Chill before cutting.
