Recipe Introduction
This is a fun and easy kind of dessert that you can entertain with. It literally takes less than 30 minutes to put together. You can even use light pudding, cream cheese or cool whip if that is what you prefer.
List of Ingredients
1 – Pack of regular Oreo cookies
2 – Boxes of vanilla pudding (You can use any kind of pudding you like)
2 – 8oz blocks of softened cream cheese
1- Tub of cool whip
Recipe
1) Using a food processer, crush up the entire pack of Oreo’s, then set aside. (If you don’t have a food processer you can put them in a zip lock back and use a rolling pin to roll over them until they are finely crushed.)
2) Using the box instructions, make the pudding
3) Add the softened cream cheese and use a blender to mix it with the pudding. (If cream cheese is not softened then the mixture will be lumpy.)
4) Add the cool whip and stir until all ingredients are combined.
5) In a very large bowl, start by adding an inch thick layer of the cookies.
6) Then pour the pudding mixture on top of the crushed layer of cookies.
7) Once the pudding mixture is emptied into the bowl, smooth out the top of the mixture so that it is as flat as possible.
8) Pour the rest of the crushed cookies on top and smooth the top so that it is flat
9) Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
**Hints**
1) If you want to use a glass bowl try adding a layer of cookies, then pudding and keep alternating until you end with a layer of cookies. This makes it very pretty on the outside.
2) Another idea is to use a cleaned flower pot, then add a fake set of flowers on top. My mother did this for her father’s birthday cake, and he loved it. You could also stick gummy worms sticking out the top to make it more fun looking.
