Baked Ham

Recipe Introduction
My friend Lisa made this ham and glaze years ago, and to date I still like it better than any other glaze I’ve ever had on ham.
List of Ingredients
1 – Ham (Any size you like, but she made hers with a ham that has a bone so this is how I still do it.)
2 cups – of Honey
3 tbs – Of regular plain yellow mustard
1 cup - Firmly packed brown sugar
1 can – Sliced pineapples
1 jar – Maraschino cherries
Recipe
1 – Preheat oven according to instructions on the ham package
2 – Place Ham in a roasting pan and add about a cup to two cups of water to the bottom of the pan
3- In a small bowl, combine the honey, mustard, brown sugar, and the pineapple juice from the sliced pineapple can. Then using a fork mix all these ingredients well
4- Using a spoon, coat the ham with about ½ of the glaze mixture and reserve the rest
5- Bake the ham and periodically use the remaining glaze mixture to coat the ham
6 – When the ham has about an hour left to cook, take it out and use toothpicks to hang the pineapple slices all over the ham, then poke a cherry on the tooth pick.
7 – When the ham is done cooking remove it from the roaster and put on serving platter. Take all the pineapples and cherries off and arrange them around the ham
***Hints***
Even though it sounds funny, the juice in the bottom of the roasting pan will make a very unique and great tasting gravy if you are serving mashed potatoes with your ham. All you have to do is put the juice in a saucepan and turn it on high. While you are waiting for the juice to come to a boil get a half cup of cold water and put 2 heaping spoon full of flower in the cup and use a fork to mix it. Mix the cold water and flour vigorously until all lumps are gone. Once the juice is boiling add the cold water and flour and use a whisk or large spoon to stir it until you have the consistency you like.
