    One of Cyndi's magazines

    Recipe Introduction

Cyndi is always bringing in magazines with new recipes that we try and this was in one of them, although I have changed it around a bit to make it my own.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 lb - Hamburger meat
    • 1 - Onion
    • 1 - Green pepper
    • ½ cup - Ketchup
    • 2 tbs - Spoons mustard
    • 2 tbs - Spoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tbs - Brown sugar
    • 1 can - Buttermilk biscuits
    • 1- Small block Velveeta cheese (I never use the whole block)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375
    2. Brown meat, with diced up onions and peppers
    3. Drain meat, put back in skillet
    4. Add rest of ingredients and stir together, you don’t have to reheat it with the rest of ingredients, it will all warm up in the oven.
    5. Take the buttermilk biscuits and push them down in a muffin pan, with the sides coming up around the top and a well in the center.
    6. Fill the biscuits with the meat mixture so that it is slightly overfilled around the top (the biscuits will rise in the oven and keep it from spilling over.)
    7. Place a small cube of Velveeta cheese on the top of each filled biscuit; bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until the edges and tops of the biscuits are lightly brown.

    Final Comments

I have used American Cheese instead of the Velvetta, but it's not as good.
