Here is my recipe. If your jalapenos are hot then you can forgo the canned red jalapenos. Chili powder also adds to the heat factor.

    Pico de Gallo

    Ingredients (makes 1 quart)

*4 large tomatoes - diced with seeds & juices
*1/2 each - green, yellow and red sweet bell peppers - seeds and veins removed
    *1 small onion - diced
*1 - 2 bunches of green onions - sliced with tops
*1 bunch cilantro (more or less to taste)
*1/2 can / jar red jalapenos - diced (WARNING: HOT! adjust amount depending on your tolerance for heat, I find these in an Tex-Mex grocery store)
*1-3 jalapenos (sometimes these are not very spicy but adds great flavor)
    *1/2 T chili powder
    *1/2 cumin
    1 clove garlic - minced
    1 T fresh lime juice

All fresh ingredients and red jalapenos can be pulsed in the food processor.
Make as chunky as you like.
