    Chicken Wings Oriental

    (I double this and use a 5 lb. bag of wings)

    1/2 cup cornstarch
    1 large egg, beaten

    2 1/2 lbs. chicken wings, cut up
    1 Tblsp. oil

    Oil large baking pan. Dip wings in egg, then in cornstarch to coat. Put on baking sheet. Bake 450F for 20-25 minutes, turn over and cook 25 minutes more or until brown.

    Meanwhile, mix sauce ingredients in saucepan and cook until thickened. Pour over wings during last half of cooking.

    Sauce:

    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/2 cup rice vinegar (can use regular)
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    2 cloves garlic
    2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tsp. water

    Bring to boil all ingredients except for cornstarch, Add to boiling mixture. Cook until thickened.
