Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl until dough forms together.
Sprinkle a clean surface or cutting board with lightly with baking mix or flour. Place dough on the floured surface.
Roll ball of dough around 3 or 4 times. Knead quickly and gently by folding, pressing and turning. Repeat about 8-10 times.
Roll dough out into about an 8-10" circle. Using biscuit or cutter dipped in flour cut out shapes and place on parchment lined cookie sheet. We use our heart shaped cookie cutter. Finish cutting out shapes until all dough is used, working as quick as possible.
Using a pastry brush, lightly brush a small amount of milk on each scone. Sprinkle with a small amount of colored sugar.
Bake 8 minutes.
