    Chocolate Mint Cake

    Beat until creamy:
    1 cup sugar
    1 stick butter

    Add:
    4 eggs
    1 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 16 ounce can Hershey Syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Pour into a greased 9x13" greased baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile cream filling:
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    Optional: sour cream for smooth consistancy

    Put all on top of cake.

    Top Layer:
    1 cup chocolate chips, melted
    6 tablespoons butter

    Spread on filling after cake filling has been cooled completely.
