One-Step Pound Cake
List of Ingredients
2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon or orange peel
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of dairy sour cream
1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
Glaze
1 cup powered sugar
1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Recipe
Heat oven to 325�.
Generously grease and lightly flour 12 cup bundt pan.
In large bowl, blend all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 325� for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool to lukewarm; invert onto serving plate. Cool completely.
In small bowl, blend glaze ingredients until smooth. Spoon over cake.
