Pumpkin Bars
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Cloves
- 1 cup Canola Oil
- 1 16oz. can Pumpkin or two cups fresh pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/3 cup Margarine, softened
- 1 3oz. Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 T. Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Grease a 15x10x1" Jelly-Roll pan, set aside.
- In a large bowl blend all ingredients at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes more at medium speed.
- Pour into greased pan.
- Bake at 350� for 25-30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting with Cream Cheese Icing.
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
In a small bowl, combine margaine and softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredints until thoroughly blended. Spread over cooled bars. Refrigerate any leftovers.
