    Rootbeer Float Cake

    List of Ingredients




    18 1/4 ounces white cake mix
    1 3/4 cups root beer,cold, divided
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1 envelope whipped topping mix



    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350º.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the dry cake mix, 1 1/4 cups of the root beer, oil and eggs. Beat on low speed 2 minutes or stir by hand 3 minutes. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped topping mix and the remaining 1/2 cup of root beer. Beat until soft peaks form. Frost the cake and store in the refrigerator.
