Strawberry Pound Cake from a Cake Mix

List of Ingredients




1 box white cake mix (18 ¼ oz)
1 cup crushed strawberries
1 package strawberry-flavored gelatin
½ cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, room temperature
Glaze:
¼ cup butter or margarine
3 ½ cup confectioners sugar
¼ cup strawberry puree



Recipe



Combine cake ingredients together in large bowl; mix for 3 minutes. Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake a 325º for 45-55 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes; remove to serving plate. Combine glaze ingredients and spread over cake. Yields 12-16 servings.
