Christmas Toffee Chip Cookies
List of Ingredients
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
2 cups All-Purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cups minature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet red and green candy coated chocolate morsels
1 pkg. 7 1/2 ounces (1 cup) almond brickle or toffee chips
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350º.
In a medium bowl blend together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium, beat together brown sugar, butter, shortening, honey and egg. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in both choclate and toffee chips.
Drop 2 inches apart in small scoop size drops onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake about 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. The centers will be soft but the outside crisp.
Cool on baking sheet for about 2 minutes before removing to baking rack.
