    Mother's Day Tea Cup Candle

    List of Ingredients




    Here a nice idea for any mom. You could present it to her in a nice little basket filled with other tea goodies, such as:

    A small devotional book
    one cup teapot
    small tea cup
    delicate cloth napkin
    different flavors of tea
    a pretty lighter for the candle
    tea cookies or a gift certificate to a local bakery
    pretty tea spoon
    sugar cubes, if your mom likes sugar in her tea
    honey sticks

    Recipe



    1. Cut a 3" wick and tie the end around a pencil. Lay the pencil across a teacup with the wick centered.

    2. Melt candle wax in a double boiler.

    3. Pour the wax slowly into the cup until about 1/8" from top. Let cool.

    4. Untie pencil and trim wick to 1/2".
