Apple/Cranberry Whole Wheat Bread
List of Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup orange juice
5 oz. melted butter
1 cup fresh uncooked cranberries
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
½ cup chopped peeled apple
1 egg
Grated ride of 2 oranges
Fresh ground nutmeg
Recipe
Sift all dry ingredients. Put in cranberries and orange rinds. Mix through dry ingredient. Put in balance of ingredients. Then butter and flour loaf pan, now pour in batter. Bake in preheated oven at 325° F for approximately 70 minutes. Test for doness.
