    Spaghetti Pie

    List of Ingredients




    6 ounces spaghetti
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    2 beaten eggs
    1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 cup cream style cottage cheese (8 ounces)
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 8 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
    1 6 ounce can tomato paste
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (we like more)
    1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    Recipe



    Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Stir butter into hot spaghetti; stir in beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese. Form spaghetti mixture into a crust in a greased 10" pie dish.
    Spread cottage cheese evenly over bottom.

    In a skillet cook ground beef and onion until brown and onions are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and garlic salt; heat thoroughly.

    Place meat mixture evenly over cottage cheese.

    Bake uncovered in a 350º oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, bake until melted, about 5 minutes or so.

    Serves 6
