Oven Baked Swiss Steak
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 pounds sirloin tip roast, trimmed, cut into strips
1 envelope onion soup mix
8 ounces mushroom, sliced
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
1 16 oz can tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon A1 Steak Sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
Recipe
Line 10x14 Jelly-roll size baking pan with heavy-duty foil, spray lightly with cooking spray. Spread with mayonnaise. Layer sirloin strips, soup mix, mushrooms and green pepper in prepared pan. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice. Arrange tomatoes over top. Pour mixture of reserved juice and remaining ingredients over layers; cover with foil.
Bake in a 325º for 3 hours.
