    Italian Sauce Mix

    List of Ingredients




    2 can (14 1/2 ounce) Stewed Tomatoes
    2 cans Water
    2 tbl. Instant Minced Onion
    3 tsp. Salt
    4 tsp. Green Pepper Flakes
    3 tsp. Sugar
    4 cans (8 oz) Tomato Sauce
    2 cans (6 ounce) Tomato Paste
    2 tbl. Parsley Flakes
    2 tbl. Cornstarch
    1 tsp. Instant Minced Garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning

    Recipe



    Puree Stewed tomatoes. Combine all ingredients in a large kettle or Dutch oven. Simmer 15 minutes over medium-low
    heat. Cool and put into six 1-pt containers leaving 1/2-inch space at top. Seal and label containers Italian Sauce Mix. Freeze and use within 6 months.

    Makes about 6 pints of mix.
