    Carmelized Chicken with Garlic & Ginger

    List of Ingredients




    4 chicken thighs
    4 chicken drumsticks
    4 chicken wings
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp cooking oil
    2 medium onions, chopped

    Glaze:
    4 Tbsp tomato sauce
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp honey
    2 Tbsp vinegar
    1 Tbsp soy sauce
    2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    small piece fresh ginger, finely chopped

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 200ºC/400ºF
    Put the chicken pieces in a roasting dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with oil and bake for 15 minutes, until chicken starts to get golden in color.

    Meanwhile while chicken is cooking, mix all the ingredients for the glaze in a small bowl. Pour the glaze over the chicken and sprinkle onion over the top. Put
    back in the oven for another 10 minutes turning chicken pieces over halfway through the cooking time. The chicken is ready when it is a shiny and dark brown in color.
