Chicken Pockets
List of Ingredients
2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
3oz. cream cheese, softened
1 T. finely, chopped onions
2 T. milk
dash of salt and pepper
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
1/4 cup melted margarine
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Mix chicken, cream cheese, onions, milk, salt and pepper.
Unroll crescent rolls. Each will contain 4 rectangles of dough with diagonal perforations. Press dough along each perforations so that rectangle halves will not separate.
Place about 1/4 cup of chicken mixture into center of each rectangle. Fold dough over filling, and pinch edges to seal tightly.
Brush each packet with melted margarine, and coat with crumbs. Place pockets on a baking sheet.
Bake in preheated 350º oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
These chicken pockets are good hot or cold.
