Marinara Suace with Burgandy
1 28 ounce Can Italian tomatoes
crushed (by your hands)
1/4 cup Olive oil
1/2 cup Burgandy
1 large Onion chopped
1 tsp. Dried sweet basil
3 Cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. Dried oregano
2 T. Tomato paste
1/2 cup Water
28oz. Tomato puree
Salt and pepper to taste
Sautee garlic and onion in oil til lightly browned.( add garlic last
minute) Add all other ingredients and simmer 2 hours stirring often to
prevent sticking.
