Carmel Corn
List of Ingredients
6 quarts popped popcorn (yellow preferred)
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
Heat all the above (except popcorn) in a sauce pan until it boils Add 1/ 2 teaspoon baking soda and cook 2 minutes while stirring Put popcorn into large brown grocery sack Pour hot caramel mixture into sack as you stir with
a wooden spoon Cook sack on high in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake sack, stir again, and cook 1 1/2 more minutes in microwave. Pour caramel corn into large bowl and stir until cool, throw away sack.
