    Chocolate Carmel Crunch Bars

    List of Ingredients




    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup margarine, softened
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup quick oats
    1/2 cup grape nuts
    1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
    1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 400º. Line an 8 x 8 inch pan with foil. Spray foil with cooking spray. In a bowl, mix brown suar and margarine. Blend in flour, oats and grape nuts. Mix well. Press into the bottom of the foil and drizzle with caramel topping to within 1/2 inch of the edge. Bake 10 minutes or till edges brown. Immediately remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 2 minutes and spread melted chips over the top. Cool 5 minutes. Remove bars by lifting foil. Place bars in freezer for 15 minutes. Remove and cut into 16 bars.
