    Poppyseed Cake

    List of Ingredients

    2/3 cup hot water
    1/4 cup poppy seeds
    1 9-ounce box yellow cake mix
    1 package vanilla instant pudding
    2/3 cup vegetable oil
    2/3 cup hot water
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    4 eggs

    Icing:
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 tablespoon margarine
    1 tablespoon milk
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla


    Recipe

    Soak poppy seeds in 2/3 cup hot water for 5 minutes then drain.

    Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a greased and floured 8 1/2" ring mold.
    Place on lowest position of Toast Oven and bake at 375º for 40-45 minutes or until done.

    Icing:
    Mix all ingredients together and pour over cake while warm.
