    Quiche Lorraine

    List of Ingredients




    1 9-inch pie crust
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    3 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
    2/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1-1/2 cup milk
    pinch grated nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste


    Recipe



    Preheat Toaster Oven to 425º.

    Partially bake crust for 10 minutes.

    Saute onion for approximately 5 minutes. Put sauteed onion, crumbled bacon and Swiss cheese into pie crust.

    Mix together eggs, milk, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Pour into crust, bake at 425º for 45 - 50 minutes
    or until lightly browned. Allow to sit a few minutes before cutting into slices.
