Cheddar Scallion Beer Bread

2 2/3 cups self-rising flour
1 (12-ounce) can beer
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup minced scallions
Recipe
Oil or grease a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan. Combine all ingredients; stir only until it is moist. Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 375 degrees until top is lightly browned and bread pulls away from sides of pan. Cool on rack 5 minutes; remove from pan and cool 5 minutes more on rack.
