    Custard Cake w/ Raspberry Sauce

    Patsy Cannon/Grand Place Catering

    List of Ingredients

    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 egg
    1 stick margarine

    Directions: Mix these ingredients and press into a lightly greased 9X13 pan.

    Topping:
    8 oz cream cheese
    3 eggs
    4 cups powdered sugar
    1 bottle Smuckers raspberry sauce

    Recipe

    Combine cream cheese, eggs, and powdered sugar. Mix well and pour over top of cake mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. To test for doneness, the top will be set when touched and lightly brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar then swirl raspberry sauce.

    ***You can substitute Lemon cake mix for a change or use Chocolate Fudge ice cream topping in place of raspberry.
