Peanut Butter Pie

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter (Jif Creamy)
9" pie shell (baked)
Mix first two ingredients in a small bowl until crumbly. Put 2/3 of the mixture in bottom of pie shell. Reserve the remaining mixture.
Filling:
Blend together:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1-1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons butter
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool slight. While still warm, spoon mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 peanut butter mixture on pie. Refrigerate and cool thoroughly.
Topping:
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk (at room temperature)
2 teaspoons Jif Creamy peanut butter
Combine Dreamwhip and milk, whip until it peaks, add peanut butter. One teaspoon at a time, blend until thoroughly mixed, then pile the mixture on the pie. Sprinkle with chocolate bits or chopped peanuts.
Sour Cream Pie Crust
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Crisco shortening
3-1/2 tablespoons sour cream
Mix flour plus salt and shortening. Add sour cream, mix well. Roll out to a 9" pie pan, bake at 425 degrees until slightly brown.
