Chocolate Mint Ravioli Cookies

1 package (15 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts
1 bar (7ounces) cookies ‘n’ mint chocolate candy (or your favorite candy bar)
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
powdered sugar
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400º. Unfold 1 pie crust on lightly floured surface. Roll into 13-inch circle. Using 2 1/2-inch cookie cutters, cut pastry into 24 (2 1/2-inch) circles with cookie cutters, re-rolling scraps if necessary. Repeat with remaining pie crust.
Separate candy bar into pieces marked in chocolate. Cut each chocolate piece in half. Beat egg and water together in small bowl with fork. Brush half of pastry circles lightly with egg mixture. Place 1 piece of chocolate in center of each circle (there will be some candy bar left over). Top with remaining pastry circles. Seal edges with tines of fork.
Place on ungreased baking sheets. Brush with egg mixture.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Remove from gookie sheets; cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.
