Biscuit Pudding w/ Bourbon Sauce

List of Ingredients
ten 1 1/2" biscuits
1 quart milk
6 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 Tbs. vanilla
2 Tbs. melted butter
Bourbon Sauce (recipe follows)
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Recipe
Break biscuits into small pieces in large bowl. Add milk; soak 5 minutes. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla and add to mixture. Pour melted butter into 2-quart baking dish, add pudding, and bake about 1 hour.
Serve warm with Bourbon Sauce.
Bourbon Sauce
Melt 1 stick butter in heavy pan. Add 1 c. sugar and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Beat 1 egg in bowl, gradually adding butter mixture while whisking constantly. Add 1/3 c. bourbon and serve.
