    Strawberries/Mexican Chocolate Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. strawberries, rinsed, dried, hulled and cut in half or quarters
    3 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped or morsels
    3 T. Kahlua
    2 T. milk
    1 T. light brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    Unsweetened whipped cream, if desired
    1 1/2 T. toasted sliced or slivered almonds, if desired

    Recipe

    In small saucepan over low heat, stir chocolate, Kahl�a, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon until smooth and shiny.

    Divide berries among 4 serving dishes or stemmed glasses. Spoon sauce over to serve. Top with whipped cream and almonds, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
