1 Stick butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups milk
2 1/2 pounds canned diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 cups prepared Bloody Mary Mix
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream

In a large pot, combine butter, flour and milk. Make a roux, being careful not to brown it. Add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for at least 15 minutes. Garnish each serving with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped onions.
