4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cubed
1/4 lb. butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Recipe
Peel and slice sweet potatoes. Peel, core and cube apples and place both in slow cooker.
Mix the melted butter and brown sugar and then spoon it over the apple and sweet potato mixture. Pour apple juice over the sweet potato and apple mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
