Noodles with Chicken, Chiles & Tomatoes

2 onions -- chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 can diced green chiles (4 oz)
1 can stewed tomatoes (1 lb) -- diced and drained,
-- reserve juice
1 teaspoon chicken seasoned stock base
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/8 teaspoon cumin
salt -- to taste
pepper -- to taste
3 cups cooked chicken -- cut into
-- large dice
1 package medium noodles (8 oz) -- cooked according
-- to package directions
-- and drained
1 cup Jack cheese -- grated
Saute onions in butter until onions are tender. Add chiles, tomatoes, chicken base and seasonings and cook for 5 minutes. Add chicken and noodles and toss to combine. Place mixture in an 8x12-inch cook and serve baker (glass pan) and sprinkle top with cheese. Pour about 1/4 cup reserved tomato juice over the top.
Heat in a 350 degree oven until piping hot and cheese topping is melted and lightly browned.
