3 pounds boneless beef chuck -- cut into 1-inch

1/2 cup all-purpose flour -- divided
plus
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 package precooked sausage links (8 oz) -- cut into 1-inch
-- pieces
2 cups leeks -- chopped
3 stalks celery (to 4) -- chopped
3 potatoes -- peeled and cubed
1 can whole tomatoes (16 oz)
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
2 garlic cloves -- minced
1/2 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet
3 tablespoons water
Dry beef cubes well. Combine 1/2 cup flour with salt and pepper. Toss beef cubes with flour mixture to coat thoroughly; place in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients except remaining 2 tablespoons flour and water in order listed; stir well. Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours or on high 4 to 6 hours.
One hour before serving, turn to High. Make smooth paste with 2 tablespoons flour and water; stir into crockpot, mixing well. Cover and cook until thickened.
