1 pound chicken livers
4 large onions -- chopped
1/4 pound butter
4 eggs -- hard boiled, cut
-- in quarters
salt -- to taste
pepper -- to taste
Saute onions in the butter. Add the chicken livers and cook until it is done (don't over do or they will become hard). Place everything in a food processor or blender and process a few seconds until it is chopped. Serve with rye bread, pumpernickel bread, or crackers.
