Fruit Noodle Kugel

1 package broad egg noodles
-- (16 oz)
3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (to 1 tsp.)
1/4 lb. butter
2 apples -- grated
2 pears -- grated
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup white raisins
-- (to 1 cup)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cook the noodles in salted, boiling water for about 25 to 30 minutes. Strain and rinse the noodles with cold water. Add butter to noodles and mix until it is melted. Add sugar, eggs, cinnamon, fruits, juices and the white raisins. Gently mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch glass pan. Bake for approximately 1-1/2 hours or a few minutes more if you like a crispy crust. This dish can be served warm or cold.
